Our pool opening starts with removing debris from your cover as well as your surrounding pool deck. We want the pool cover clean in order to limit debris and filth from entering your pool water. Once filter is ready for water circulation, move to install plugs and caps in equipment, then lube and inspect o-rings and gaskets. Then the pool returns are opened as well as skimmer lines and circulation is started. Many times motors will be seized up from setting all winter long without operation, this does not mean that a new motor is required necessarily. Superior pool service technician will inspect and hopefully get the impeller turning freely again. Once impeller and motor is running properly, water circulation will begin.
If bottom of pool is visible, then pool opening includes vacuuming any silt that made its way through the mesh cover to waste.
